Microwave Was Invented by Accident
Over the years a lot of research are constantly done towards trying to solve the problem all to us trying to provide a solution to a challenging factor. In so doing researchers engineers are constantly tinkering with so many materials and equipment in the lab so I was providing a solution to a non-problem. This results in the invention of many usable quality products that have been quite beneficial for generations to come. Well-known names have developed quite substantial inventions like the microwave which is vastly used on a daily basis.
The invention of the microwave that is seen in modern households we developed and credited to Percy Spencer. He is known as an American self-taught engineer who was experimenting with magnetrons in the laboratory with vacuum tubes inside radars. There was not much information provided or none at this moment of inquiry as to what he was actually trying so I achieve in the test that he was carrying out. Surprisingly to his observations he noticed the peanut candy bar in his pocket had begun to melt. This was the birth of the microwave in the making.
The knowledge of microwave technology after such discovery grew into so many areas that search technology could be used failure microwave technology is now being used in weather conditions even satellites, used by NASA and so much more. It is the same technology that is used by police to monitor vehicle speeds as well. All this will achieve by the main accidental melting offset peanuts candy bar, which is an amazing surprise. ironically microwaves were not the initial name start posting so the invention.
Percy Spencer The letter decided to use this technology support comes hence popped so many cons all over the place. The next day he boiled an egg with it to show it could be used to cook food quite rapidly. This was the birth of the microwave which at that time was named RadaRange and it cost $5,000 then, which is equivalent to $52,628 in 2015 (Tweedie, 2015). Doing that time, the initial design was the size a full refrigerator, it also weighed heavily which made it even more difficult to be practical on a mass scale production. Sadly, due to this this invention was a flop and never took off until it was restructured resized to the present usable size it is now.
This restructuring our packaging I'll just technology town made it more usable and easier to market for each household use. I thought 1997 90% of the US household now owned in microwave and it was in 1986 done the name was officially changed and shut down from “microwave oven” to just simply “microwave.” Ever since the invention and quotes of microwave it is quite understandable that in 1999 Percy Spencer was immortalized for such an invention as he was inducted into the national inventors Hall of Fame.
